Brynlee started dancing at the age of 2 where she was trained by some amazing teachers including our very own Tracy and Annette. She won many scholarships, high overalls and title awards in her dance career. She has choreographed for many high school drill teams and dance companies including her alma mater Alta high school dance company. She went on to try out for the New York City rockettes where she made it to the top 40 before being cut. She took a break from dancing to start a family. She got married to her best friend, Michael, in 2017 and had two boys.

Jeremy Platt, originally from Draper, Utah began his dancing career at the age of 8 in Camarillo, California. When his family moved back to Utah he trained at Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in all styles from age 12-18. Jeremy has competed and won many awards and scholarships from Jump, Nuvo, 24 Seven, Radix, NYCDA and The Dance Awards. Jeremy attended BYU on a ballet scholarship with Theater Ballet. He has also had the pleasure of booking jobs locally in Utah with film projects, theatre and different dance organizations. This is Jeremy’s second year with Odyssey Dance Theater and first year teaching at Danceology.
Elena Gimenez was born and raised in Madison, Alabama where she started dance at the age of three. She trained extensively in all styles and danced competitively for the majority of her life. Elena then went on to receive her BFA in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). There, she performed works by Aszure Barton, Robert Battle, José Limón, Merce Cunningham, Larry Keigwin, and Yin Yue, among others. She has attended summer intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Northwest Dance Project, the Limón Company at Perry-Mansfield, and The Cambrians. In these programs, she worked closely alongside people such as Dante Puleio, Ihsan Rustem, and FLOCK. Elena also has a passion for musical theatre, commercial dance, and choreography, winning numerous awards for her choreography of musicals and competitive pieces. She was a teacher at The Dance Company, Inc. in Alabama for over five years before moving to Utah. This is Elena’s first year as a member of the Contemporary Dance company, SALT2.
Annette has taught dance for over 25 years. She owned her own dance studio for 10 years and had lots of choreography awards and high over all routines. She coached drill Brighton and Hillcrest drill teams and has choreographed state champion drill team dance routine. She has choreographed all over Utah and Idaho for private studios, drill teams, and dance companies. She says “I'm old so I have wisdom heehee.”
